The incubation chamber where Ash framework went from promising to an obvious contender for your Elixir projects. Alembic funds a lot of open source in Elixir and are particularly strong in Ash with several core team members on their consulting staff. They literally wrote the book on it.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting a whole pile of Alembians at this point. Josh Price, the CEO, has a deeper interest in the future and is way more keen at speculating about where things are going than I. Looking off towards the future is tricky, I know some people get lost there and I’ve found Josh balances the grand vision by having two feet firmly planted in pragmatism and community. He contributes and his company contributes a lot to the community and ecosystem.
Last I heard they were doing space projects, large health care system legacy migrations and a lot more. And on the open source side we see Alembians like James Harton launch BEAM Bots, bringing a lot of the principles of Ash into an entirely new technical domain. Rebecca Le is bringing a very interesting side project to the Goatmire stage. Coming in from all over the world, with some of the longest trips they are bringing two workshops and at least two talks.
They offer services all over the world. They have people locally in Europe as well as their native Australia.
