Founded by Josh Kalderimis and myself (Lars Wikman) NervesCloud is the hosted and managed commercial offering of NervesHub, the open source project that has had a fairly varied history. It has now been steadily improved for two years. Actually we can review what has happened since Josh became the primary contributor:
- Complete UI rework that is way nicer to look at and a better tool for power users
- Much more robust release orchestration
- Significant security hardening, CVEs reported and fixed
- Really solid firmware delta support taking updates down from 30MB to 700KB on the daily (this one I did a lot on)
- Health metrics, geo-location and other extensions
- Way better CLI tools
- Updated documentation
- Lots of bugfixin’
